hey, how are you!
(5 minutes ago)@firePickle
@Banananose: well... THANK you!
(5 minutes ago)@culob
wow this game is a wonder this gives a whole new perspective of You remind me a lot of me when I first started, @culob. I encourage you to keep creating wonderful things. Give this website the community it deserves. Thank you for being a part of!

@werneburg: Welcome to BlockStudio!

Thanks! BIG improvement :) In life, you'll find that, after you've worked hard on something, you'll have to put in a little *more* hard work so that it's polished and *looks* good to a casual observer seeing it for the first time. This was a nice example of that lesson.
(5 minutes ago)@rahul
done! it looks better... (-:
(5 minutes ago)@culob
Btw, do you know how to update the thumbnail? (edit the game, click any block, click save). This is the first game on the Hall of Fame... maybe its icon should hint at what's inside the game :)
(5 minutes ago)@rahul
@culob: I looked through the logs and it looks like @Huskers1 clicked the copy icon/button twice (maybe the system was slow and didn't respond). (and *you* just copied LW3 to make LW4, so that's the third copy -- now they're all accounted for :D)
(5 minutes ago)@rahul
but who copied the other one?
(5 minutes ago)@culob
O.K. that's fine! is it more complicated then you thought it was?
(5 minutes ago)@culob
I copied your game just to see the code.
(5 minutes ago)@Huskers1
O.K. sounds good!
(5 minutes ago)@culob
To answer your question, there isn't an easy way for me to tell (yet), without going into the system logs. I think if you see a similar game, and if it was copied from yours, the author will give you credit -- if they don't then let me know :)
(5 minutes ago)@rahul
Oh, I thought you were upset, as in "hey, who's been copying my stuff?" I see that you were merely curious, as in "hmmm, I wonder who is looking at my projects closely enough that they want to look inside"
(5 minutes ago)@rahul
no, but who has?
(5 minutes ago)@culob
@culob: BlockStudio is all about learning, so copying is enabled by default, as long as you are logged in. Do you have any objections to people copying your game(s)? I'd like to know what you think :)
(5 minutes ago)@rahul
hey, who's been copying this?
(5 minutes ago)@culob
and the other galleries, all of them. (-:
(5 minutes ago)@culob
yeah, I have looked at all the games on block studio. (-: () () ----
(5 minutes ago)@culob
Done :) Have you looked at the other galleries in the group? I know you found the score numbers there.
(5 minutes ago)@rahul
and @rahul are you going to put this one in our file?
(5 minutes ago)@culob
This is truly amazing.
(5 minutes ago)@Huskers1
Thanks! It felt good to get that last gold piece :D I *really* need to rebuild the HoF -- there's lots to do! (I've put LW3 in there)
(5 minutes ago)@rahul
there, done!
(5 minutes ago)@culob
Awesome! One more question: why can't I get the last gold piece in the final level? (I was stuck at 19 out of 20... it's the "gold" block that's directly below the score counter)
(5 minutes ago)@rahul
I fixed it!
(5 minutes ago)@culob
(5 minutes ago)@culob
Wonderful!!! Fun to play, well-constructed levels, and I *love* the portals. But you have to tell me: Why are there two different counters? They both show the same value, so why not remove one? Don't get me wrong, counters are a *lot* of fun -- but repeating the same info on the screen seems... redundant. Could you share the reason for this particular design with me?
(5 minutes ago)@rahul
done! @rahul you can play it now! and notice how many users are playing (including new people) (-:
